pixelstyle: Sweet Home, Famicom - 1989 Sweet Home was a survival-horror RPG that was only released in Japan, and is commonly called the precursor to Resident Evil. The above screen is from a fan-translated ROM. I absolutely love this image. The characters escaped, and are looking back and remembering what happened in the house where some of them met their end. Not many games of this era can convey this type of emotion. Great detail in the clouds/fog as well.
